1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the sale of goods (books, merchandise) through Treasure Box Tales Ltd trading as https://treasureboxtales.co.uk (“we”, “us”, “our”) in the United Kingdom. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept and agree to these T&Cs.

3. Using Our Website

Accounts: Accounts are optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Prohibited Conduct: No misuse – spamming, fraudulent activity, scraping, bots, malware etc.

4. Placing an Order

To place an order, follow the clear steps on our website. You will be asked to confirm your details before purchase. A binding contract is formed once your payment is authorised by Stripe (see Section 6) and we send an order confirmation by e-mail.

5. Pricing & Payment

Prices are as shown on the website. Payments are in GBP and handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments UK Ltd), subject to Stripe’s UK Services Agreement. All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. You are bound by Stripe’s terms and conditions, as well as ours.

6. Delivery & Risk

Delivery charges and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. We aim to dispatch within 2-3 business days. Risk and ownership of products passes to you when delivered and accepted.
Late Delivery: Please contact us if delivery is delayed beyond an estimated date.

7. Right to Cancel & Returns (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you may cancel within 14 days of receipt (“cooling-off period”), no questions asked. To cancel, just notify us and return items in “as received” condition, at your cost (unless faulty). We may deduct any diminished value or recovery cost if not returned properly. Refunds (including standard return delivery) will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.

8. Faulty Goods & Consumer Rights

You also have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content – text, images, logos, designs – is our property or used with permission. You may not reproduce or use without our express permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Subject to mandatory consumer protections, our liability is limited to the value of your purchase. We exclude liability for:

  • Indirect/incidental loss (lost profits, data, etc.)

  • Delays caused by you or third-party disruptions.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We process your data according to our Privacy Policy. This complies with UK GDPR and relevant data protection law.

12. Changes to T&Cs

We may update these T&Cs occasionally. The “Last updated” date below indicates the current version. We will notify you of material changes and obtain your agreement if required.

13. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Most disputes can be resolved informally – please contact us first. Otherwise, you may pursue your rights in court or via an ADR scheme, particularly for consumer complaints.
